At Flemings Chapel, we believe serving others is one of the most powerful ways to reflect Christ’s love. Every act of service—whether in the nursery, on a bus route, or out in the community—helps share the hope of Jesus and strengthens the bonds of our church family.

Serving Opportunities
Every ministry at Flemings Chapel depends on faithful volunteers who want to make a difference. If you’re a member at Flemings and would like to join a team, reach out and contact us—we’ll help you find the right fit.
Nursery & Childcare
Sunday mornings from 9–10AM or 10–11:15AM
Provide care for infants and toddlers during Sunday School or service so parents can worship with peace of mind. Volunteers help create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for our youngest attenders.
Awana + Youth Helper
Sunday nights from 6–7:30 PM
Help children grow in Scripture knowledge through teaching, encouragement, and relationship-building. Volunteers assist with lessons, activities, and verse memorization during our weekly Awana program.
Evening Bus Rider
Sunday from 5–6PM or Wednesday from 5–6PM
Ride along with the church bus ministry to help ensure safe transportation for children and adults attending services. Volunteers assist with supervision, greeting families, and building connections each week.
Church Work Days
Impromptu monthly workdays
Pitch in with church improvement projects such as repairs, painting, organizing, or landscaping. These days provide practical help that keeps our facilities welcoming and well-maintained.
Operation Christmas Child
Seasonal
Support a global outreach by helping prepare, pack, and organize shoebox gifts for children around the world. This is a meaningful hands-on ministry during the collection season.
Angel Tree Ministries
Seasonal
Bless local families by helping organize, prepare, and distribute Christmas gifts to children in need. Volunteers help coordinate donations and share Christ’s love in a tangible way.
Teacher Appreciation Meals
Seasonal
Help prepare and serve meals that show gratitude to our local teachers each fall. Volunteers assist with planning, cooking, setup, and warm encouragement for educators.
