At Flemings Chapel, we believe faith grows best in community—and that includes our youngest members! Whether your child is just starting to learn about Jesus or your teen is discovering how to live out their faith, there’s a place for them here in Lenoir.
We’re here to encourage, guide, and walk with every child and student as they grow in faith, friendship, and confidence in Christ.
From Sunday mornings to special events throughout the year, our children’s ministry provides a safe, joyful environment where kids can learn about God’s love in ways that make sense for them.
Through Bible stories, crafts, music, and hands-on activities, we help children connect faith with everyday life, right here in our Lenoir community.
Highlights of our Kids Ministry:
Our Youth Ministry at Flemings Chapel is all about helping middle and high school students grow deeper in their faith while navigating real life. We believe in giving students space to ask questions, find belonging, and discover how faith applies beyond Sunday morning.
Through weekly gatherings, Bible studies, service projects, and special trips, we guide students to build a faith that’s their own—one rooted in truth, friendship, and purpose
Your child’s safety and spiritual growth are our top priorities. All volunteers are background-checked and trained to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for every child and teen. Our lessons and activities are rooted in Scripture and designed to help kids not only learn about Jesus but experience His love through authentic relationships and community.
Our nursery provides a safe, loving space where little ones are cared for while parents worship and study. Volunteers share simple Bible truths through songs, play, and gentle interaction.
Using the Answers in Genesis curriculum, Little Learners discover God’s Word through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities that help build a foundation of faith in a fun, age-appropriate way.
The Discovery Class helps children explore Scripture and understand how it applies to everyday life. Through Answers in Genesis lessons, activities, and discussion, kids learn how God’s truth connects to the world around them.
Our Youth Class digs into Scripture book by book, encouraging students to ask questions, grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and strengthen their faith through community. Each week includes study, discussion, and time for fellowship.
Our Awana program, led by Chip and a team of volunteers, offers an engaging evening of Bible lessons, games, and snacks for children from Pre-K through high school. Kids build friendships, memorize Scripture, and grow in their understanding of God’s Word, all in a safe, welcoming environment. Transportation is available.
Our youth group, led by Pastor Weston and his wife Michaela, gathers each week for Bible study, fellowship, scripture memorization, and fun. Students enjoy snacks, sports, games, and time to connect with friends while deepening their faith. Transportation is available.
Pastor Weston and his wife, Michaela, are new to Flemings Chapel but bring a deep passion for ministry and serving others. Together, they lead the youth group on Sunday nights and Wednesdays, guiding students to grow in faith, build community, and live out their walk with Christ.
Chip has been a dedicated member of Flemings Chapel for many years, faithfully serving as both a deacon and our AWANA Commander. His heart for ministry shines through his commitment to helping children and families grow in their faith and love for the Lord.
